We are proud to announce that The Nest Nursery Pype Hayes is an extension of your home, it is a place where every child is nurtured to reach their full potential. Everything about our nursery portrays calm and tranquillity. From the neutral tones which ensure children are not overstimulated to the calming space to focus on the task or activity at hand. Children need to feel relaxed and at ease in their environment and not bombarded by over stimulation of bright colours, harsh lighting and plastic resources.

The environments we have at The Nest Nursery are incredibly important to us, children learn through using an array of beautiful natural and authentic resources, which offer a variety of textures to explore and investigate. We use open-ended resources, recycled materials and loose parts within the child’s play to spark imagination and curiosity. Our space is a large open-plan inviting environment where children get to be together, learning from each other. You have to see it to really appreciate it’s uniqueness, it truly is a very special place!

Using our outdoor provision is also incredibly important to us at The Nest Nursery. Your child will be able to spend large amounts of time outdoors, exploring, creating and learning to appreciate the natural world and develop at their own pace. We offer Forest School session to our oldest children and take them off site to our local nature reserve. Our Forest School provision is led by a qualified Level 3 Forest School trained practitioner.

The Nest Nursery at Pype Hayes is located on the site of Gunter Primary School. It was our first setting to open in 2009 and a flagship for The Curiosity Approach .
