The Nest Nursery Lime Tree
A Home from Home Nursery
The Nest Nursery Lime Tree is located close to Edgbaston Reservoir housed in a beautiful building, it is enclosed by it’s beautiful lime trees that provided the children with shade in the Summer months and a sea of leaves in the Autumn. We work hard to create The Nest Nursery Lime Tree to be an extension of home for each child. Everything about our nursery portrays calm and tranquillity. From the neutral tones which ensure children are not overstimulated to the calming space to focus on the task or activity at hand. Children need to feel relaxed and at ease in their environment and not bombarded by over stimulation of bright colours, harsh lighting and plastic resources.
The environments we have at The Nest Nursery are incredibly important to us, children learn through using an array of beautiful natural and authentic resources, which offer a variety of textures to explore and investigate. We use open-ended resources, recycled materials and loose parts within the child’s play to spark imagination and curiosity.
We also have a magnificent garden for your children to spend endless hours outdoors, exploring, creating and learning to appreciate the natural world and develop at their own pace. We offer Forest School session to our oldest children and take them off site to our local nature reserve. Our Forest School provision is led by a qualified Level 3 Forest School trained practitioner.
The Nest Nursery Lime Tree has been part of The Nest Nursery family since 2015 but has been a nursery for over 25 years, it is a magical place that generations of families have attended.

We offer a Forest School provision off site at our local Nature Reserve, lead by our Forest School level 3 trained Practitioner.
Weekly fun sessions which help our children communicate before speech.
We offer all our of children a variety of music sessions every week.
We offer all of our children a healthy well balanced menu prepared off site by our own chef.
